Heide Marie Mulcahy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024, at the age of 74, Heide Marie Mulcahy (Covington, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Koehnke and Anna Koehnke (Schulz); and her brother Peter Koehnke. She is survived by: her husband Leo; her children, Erin (Jim) of Fairbanks, AK, Laura (Tetteh) of Brooklyn, NY and Brian (Elizabeth) of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, Aurora Janoso and Anya; and her children, Ponyo, Fin and Jake Mulcahy.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (255 W Main St, Covington, VA 24426).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes be made to the Covenant House, a nonprofit supporting homeless youth that was dear to Heide's heart (http://www.covenanthouse.org / PO Box 758636 Topeka KS 66675-9986).
