She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Davis and Dorothy E. Davis; her husband George Spellman Tyler, Sr.; and her sisters, Elizabeth Holloway and Doris Pleasant.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Dooley, Phyllis Kaye James, Donna Billups (Don) of Covington, Sharon Jones (Freddie) of Roanoke, George Tyler, Jr. (Cletha) of Waco, Michael Tyler (Susie) of Covington and Maxwell Van Tyler of Phenix City, Alabama. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
