We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2023, at the age of 96, Doris Mae Turner Hayes in Covington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Jackson Turner and Virginia Frances Luckett Turner; her husband Robert Emory Hayes; her sister Lolly Berry of Washington, D. C.; and her cousin James Turner, Jr..

She is survived by: her nephews, Richard Berry (Linette) and Steven Berry; her niece Dorothy Leisure; her cousin Perlista Yvonne Henry; her granddaughter Helen Selleck (Charlie) of Covington; and her friend John Laflame. She is also survived by cousins and other family members.
