He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Hollis Rock, Sr. and Helen Deffinbaugh Rock; and his brother Dennis Keith Rock. He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Hatcher (Mark) of Roanoke and Katie Ann Rock of Clifton Forge; his grandchildren, Zev, Teddy and Eric; and his siblings, Larry Eugene Rock of Covington, William H. "Billy" Rock of Covington, Joan Ward of Newport News, Tana Angle of Eagle Rock and Donna Rock White of Covington. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
