He is survived by: his parents, Michele Frye and Gilbert Perry Smith Jr.; his significant other Melissa Richmond; his siblings, Derrick Littrell Byrd, Secret Latay Hunter, Rashina Latay Hunter, Alisha Janae Frye and Shae Destiny Smith; his grandmothers, Leatha "NaNa" Smith and Boneta Steltz; his son Kyndall Putnam; his uncle Barry Smith; and his aunts, Aurelia Jackson and Lynn Smith.
A reception was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home (1102 S Highland Ave, Covington, VA 24426). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
