He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hendrick Griffin and Ada Bennett Griffin; his children, Robert Griffin, Cynthia Griffin and Calvin H. Griffin; and his sisters, Sally Falls, Mary Persinger and Katie Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betsy Griffin of Covington and Mary Ann Webb (Avery) of Covington; and his grandchildren, Robert Griffin, Amy Austin, Kimberly Nickle and Sara Griffin. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
