It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walt Cary of Courtland, Virginia, born in Strasburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Walter Miles "Doc" and Essie Munch "Tillie" Cary; his siblings, Patricia Hancock (Russell), Paul Franklin Cary of Maurertown and Polly Wilson (Richard) of Strasburg; his daughter April Pittman (Bill); and his grandchildren, William Cary Pittman and Victoria Fox Pittman-Jones (Andrew). He was also cherished by two great-grandchildren.
