He is survived by: his children, Carole Garner Merrill, Jeanne Marie Garner, Melissa Garner Loe, Richard "Rich" Gordon Garner, Jr. (Victoria) and Michael Garner. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.
