He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Susie Miles and Elisha Davis; his wife Peggy Lowe Davis; his children, Raymond Clyde Davis, Jr. (Debbie), Jeff Davis (Lou Anne), Ginnie Carr (Merrell), Garnet Gilmore (Gary), Velvet White (Jim) and Melissa Rose (Jerry); his grandchildren, Patricia Davis (Mary Ann), Elizabeth McCoy (Adam), Sarah Vaughan (Bret), Sonny Davis (Marisa), Adam Gilmore and Amber Rae Alcaraz; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Railey, Lillian Davis, Staton Davis, Brylie Vaughan and Maisy Davis.
