He is survived by: his children, William Nick Kitchen, IV, Robin Kitchen Johnson and Martha Elizabeth "Beth" Kitchen; his grandchildren, Amanda Kate Johnson, Jenna Kit Johnson, Dalton Nicholas Hedgepeth and Drake Marlowe Holliday; and his siblings, Patricia Kitchen Carr and Godwyn Theo "Bucky" Kitchen, Jr..
