He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Vaughan Harris Raiford; his parents, Lloyd Monroe Raiford and Helen Joyner Raiford; and his daughter-in-law Sylvie Berry Raiford. He is survived by: his children, Lynn W. King (Delford) of Rawlings, VA and Daniel M. Raiford of Burdette; and his grandchildren, Chris King (Mitzi), Katy King Slagle (Jonathan), Kelly King Jones (Brandon), Jennifer Raiford Domer (Sean) and Jeffrey Raiford (Stephanie). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Burdette Baptist Church, c/o Vanessa Bailey, Indiantown Rd., Courtland, VA 23837.
