It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn P Parrish (Courtland, Virginia), born in Murfreesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Roland Parrish; her parents, Paul Douglas Payne and Katie Boyett Payne; her son Frank R. Parrish, Jr.; and her siblings, Margarite Pierce, Alice McDonald, Eleanor Williams and Fred Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Kay P. Grovesteen (Lon), Anne P. Cole (Perry), John M. Parrish (Phyllis), Stephen F. Parrish and Tim B. Parrish (Mary). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland Rescue Squad or Courtland Fire Department.
