With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie Shearin of Courtland, Virginia, born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Lafayette and Mary Ernie Johnson Hancock of Courtland; her husband Frank Winston Shearin; her children, Sammy Johnson (Debby) of Midlothian, R. Ernie Johnson of Norfolk, VA and Linda F. Johnson of Courtland, VA.; her stepchildren, Frank "Winston" Shearin, Jr. (Susan) of Etowah, NC and Anita Shearin Koen (Jeff) of Winterville, NC; and her siblings, Lucille Hancock Dilday, Robert "Bob" L. Hancock, Harry Lee Hancock and Garth S. Hancock. She was also cherished by six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
