He was predeceased by : his parents, George Thomas Kitchen, Sr. and Ferne Turner Kitchen; his daughter Janet Kitchen Crumpler; and his sister Jeanie Kitchen Darden. He is survived by : his wife Ann C. Kitchen; his daughter Rhonda Kitchen Fabbri (Tommy) of Port Jefferson; his grandchildren, Justin Ford, Rachel Sterenberg (Mike), Sara Ford, Daniel Crumpler and Jacob Ford; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Judah and Emery Sterenberg; his brother Jimmy; his sister-in-law Maryann Coleman; his niece Jill Darden; and his nephews, Jeff Coleman (Rhonda), Jack Darden and John Paul Darden.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday in the funeral home and suggests memorial donations be made to Sunbeam Baptist Church, 31226 Sunbeam Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
