He was predeceased by : his parents, George Briggs Edwards and Louise Williams Edwards; his brother Steven Wayne Edwards; and also, Rufus Henry Bradley and Margaret P. Bradley.

He is survived by : his wife Gail B. Edwards; his sisters, Connie Louise Edwards-Malosky (Paul) and Stacy Lynn Edwards; and his uncle Robert William Edwards.
