She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Moss Dickerson and Emily Thornton Dickerson; and her sisters, Linda D. Raiford and Jeannie D. Fuller. She is survived by: her husband James Linwood Edwards; her sons, Richard William "Rich" Edwards (Barbara) of Virginia Beach and Jason Bryce Edwards (Melissa) of Houston, TX; her sister Peggy Bass of Courtland; her grandchildren, Christian Thomas Edwards, Cole Richard Edwards and Bryce Hilton Edwards; and her nieces and nephews, Christy Wilson, Lori Edwards, Sam Bass, Mel Bass and Ed Atkins.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland Baptist Church.
