With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice V Edwards of Courtland, Virginia, born in Boykins, Virginia, who passed away on September 6, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Luther and Eunice Banty Vick; and her sister Betty Vick Dinsmore. She is survived by: her children, Vickie E. Phipps (Dale), Brenda E. Flowers (William "Tal" Murphy), Dale E. Holt (Ricky) and James Kenneth "Kenny" Edwards (Marsha); and her grandchildren, Kevin Story (Heather), Tina Clark (Jeff), Taylor Flowers (Sara), Kelly Holeman (James), Elyse Edwards (Chris), Bennett Flowers (Kelsey), Ashley Dover (Deven), Zach Edwards, Carrie Holt (Brendan), Mitch Phipps and Brandon Phipps.
The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to Courtland United Methodist Church. wrightfuneralhome.org.
