Barbara Pope Burgess Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Pope Burgess of Courtland, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie G. Pope and Jessie C. Pope; and her siblings, Virginia King, Elizabeth Fowler, Gwen Overby, Harvey Pope and Linwood "Cat" Pope.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Burgess; her sons, Trice Burgess of Fairfax, VA and Keith Burgess (Kathy) of Powhatan, VA; her brothers, William Pope (Mary Jo) and James Pope (Audrey); and her grandchildren, Hudson (Jamie), Connor and Cassidy Burgess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
