She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Paul Pope and Doris Harrup Pope; and her brother Emmett "Buddy" Haley Pope. She is survived by: her husband Joe Earl Starling; her sister Roselyn Martin; and her pet Katie Bug.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to your favorite Humane Society.
