It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Wooldridge Tucker of Concord, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Norman R. "Buddy" Tucker; her parents, James E. Wooldridge and Etta Harris Wooldridge; her siblings, Jean Seay, Thomas "Pete" Wooldridge and Hubert Wooldridge; and her granddaughter Stephanie Augis.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa Sandifer (Keith) of Concord, Donna Nash of Concord and Danny Tucker (Darlene) of Amherst; her siblings, Jewell Moon of Stuarts Draft and Edward Wooldridge of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Jamie Staten, Valerie Greenwood, Mary Stanley, Ivy Henry, Allison Brooks, Donald Dieffenbach and Sarah Augis; and her close friend Vickie Moon. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
