He is survived by: his children, Winston Burns (Virginia) of Naruna and Geal Cheatham of Concord; his grandchildren, Kendra Yuille (Tyrone), Winston Burns (Twila) and David Furline; his great grandchildren, Tiberius, Rakell Yuille, Katequa and Kameron Burns; his sister Dorothy M. Smith of Brookneal; his sister-in-law Carrie Burns of Hampton; his nephew Danny Ray Smith; and his goddaughter Sherwyn Pringle. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
