It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Otis Oliver Henderson of Concord, Virginia, born in Altavista, Virginia, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Henderson and Ora Henderson; and his sister Glenna Henderson North. He is survived by: his wife Norma Keatts Henderson; his daughters, Kimberly Staton (Bobby) and Audrey Gray (Stephen); his grandchildren, Haleigh Young, Brooke Young, Christian Gray and Oakley Gray; his great grandchildren, Mila Glover and Cameron Glover; and his sisters, Sarah Sligh (Jimmy), Deborah Bennett, Cheryl Soult (Ronnie), Karen Patterson (Randy) and Donna Dodd (Bo). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Concord, Va, or the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
