She was predeceased by: her parents, James, Sr. Hunter and Pattie Hunter; and her sister Peggy Hunter Mutz. She is survived by: her husband Robert Edward Cardwell; her children, Timothy Cardwell (Dana), Tania Cardwell of Concord, VA and Niki Barksdale Eyler; her grandchildren, Kiera Cardwell, Nyasia Cardwell, Christopher Cardwell, Damion Barksdale, Marion Barksdale and Clinton Cardwell; her great grandchild Amiyah Payne; and her brothers, James Hunter, Jr. (Folami) and Leroy Webster (Harriett). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
