He is survived by: his mother June Hurt Nowlin of Brookneal; his wife Mary Ann Panniel Nowlin; his children, Paula "Cookie" Blake (Brenton) of Lynchburg, Robert Lonnell Adams (Chelle) of Lynchburg and Diane Monk (Danny) of Ruther Glen; his grandchildren, Jabari Blake, Jahee Blake, Attache Brown, Dayshaa Curtis, Kyle Adams, Koleman Adams and Zaniyah Adams; and his siblings, Louise Bateman (Rodney) of New Jersey, Brenda James (Tim) of Lynchburg, William "Pete" Nowlin and Ricky Nowlin of Brookneal. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
