It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Hughes Franklin (Concord, Virginia), born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 1, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Harold Owen Franklin; her parents, Harry A. Hughes, Sr. and Evelyn Moon Hughes; and her brother Bobby Hughes. She is survived by: her children, Scarlet DeWitt (Blake), Robin Keesee (David) and Larry Godsey (Kristi); her grandchildren, Matt DeWitt (Cassidy), Lindsey DeWitt, Chris Bohon (Shana), Zac Keesee (Ashley) and Lucas Keesee (Maria); her siblings, Harry Hughes, Jr. (Linda), Janice Horn (Marvin) and Shirley Tomlin; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
