Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Morrell (Concord, Virginia), born in Unicoi, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 98, on April 22, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Morrell and Rosa Morrell; and his siblings, Ruth Gough, Tom Morrell and Clarence Morrell.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Black Morrell; his children, Paula Morrell (John Sterling) of Brooklyn, N. Y. and Scott Morrell (Tammy) of Concord, VA.; his grandchildren, Bram, Ethan, Julia, Zane, Garreth Sterling, Ashley Morrell (Taylor) and Megan Hamlett (Stephen); and his sister Rosa Burnett of Lynchburg, VA.. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
