He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Layne and Sterlene Layne. He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Layne of Rustburg and Ricky Crist (Kay) of Oregon; his niece Lindsay Salmons (Jonathan) of Verona; his nephews, Steven Layne (Brittany) of Evington and Larry Crist (Angie) of Oregon; his great-niece Heidi Layne; and his great-nephews, Jaxon, Leo, Daniel Layne and Maddox Crist.
