He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Randolph Bowles, Sr. and Roberta Thomas Bowles. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ballagh Bowles; his daughter Kara B. Baker (Willie); his granddaughter Ella of Concord; his child Ran Bowles (Taylor) of Evington; his siblings, Robert Wayne Ellis (Kathi) of Evington, Tina Bowles of Winston-Salem, NC and Roberta B. Rosser of Concord; his brother-in-law Will Ballagh (Anne); his mother-in-law Dorothy Francis (Roger) of Concord; and also Niki. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
