He is survived by: his nephew Harold Parker, Jr.; his wife Frances Brown; his children, Shernita Whirley, Gary Brown, Jr., Nicole Mayberry (Mark), Katilia Spriggs and Diandra Sparks (Anthony); and his sisters, Joan Giles (Robert) of Lynchburg and Phyllis Parker (Harry) of Rustburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
