He was predeceased by: his spouse Ann Shull; his parent Charles Shull; and his siblings, Tom Shull, Bob Shull and Dorothy Reese.

He is survived by: his parent Celia Shull; his children, Mike Shull (Wendy), Don Shull, Debbie Vassar (Ronnie) and Jackie Almond (Mike); his grandchildren, Travis Shull, Adam Sexton (Amy), Scott Sexton, Amy Crabtree (Derrick), Christal Crickenberger, Karli Covington (Wil), Katie Vassar (Chris Wolford), Michael Norman (Cara) and Adam Norman (Lyle); and his sisters, Marilyn Fore, Mary Jo Goff (Bo), Peggy Hines (Maurice), Myrtle Hall (Jim) and Greer Tibbs (Joe).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Concord Fire Department.
