She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Turner "H. T." Burleigh, Jr.; her parents, Mary McNair and William Hocker Wood; her daughter Susan B. Dwyer; and her siblings, William McNair Wood, Mary Lee Copeland, Roberta Brown, Laura Simmons and Jane Glass.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. William T. Burleigh (Shelley) of Concord, Phillip Burleigh (Sandy) of Concord, Mary B. Martin (Kenneth) of Richmond and Joan B. Thompson (David) of Concord; and her son-in-law Michael Dwyer of Danville, PA.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
