It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Lee Seamster of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sudie Grady Seamster and Charlie Thomas Seamster; his former wife Ellen M. Seamster; his brother Dan Seamster; and his nephew Mike Seamster.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Tucker Seamster; his daughters, Cindy Dalton (Ronnie, Sr.) of Concord, Mary Stanley (Jeff) of North Carolina, Ivy Henry (Donald) of North Carolina and Allison Brooks (Dustin) of Lynchburg; his sisters-in-law, Teresa Sandifer (Keith), Dorothy Fleshman (Gary) and Myrna Doss; his grandchildren, Tristan Phelps (Hayley), Melissa Bryant (Adam), Ronnie Dalton, Jr. (Lindsey), Kaitlyn Stanley, Kylie Brown, Kinsley Brooks and Tucker Brooks; his great grandchildren, Carter Dalton, Adam Bryant, Jr. and Ashton Bryant; and his nephew Timothy Seamster.
