It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Franklin Jones of Concord, Virginia, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Scruggs and Charles Edward Jones; his sister Jean Jones; and his brother-in-law George B. Cress. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Giles Jones; his children, Charles F. "Chuck" Jones, Jr. (Terri) of Richmond, James Edward "Ed" Jones (Mechelle) of Concord and Nancy Ellen Jones Johnson (Keith) of Evington; his grandchildren, Gavin Jones (Brooke), Lindsey Jones, Hope Trent (Blake) and Charlie Jones (Maddy); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn Jones, Grant Jones and Turner Trent; and his sister Nancy J. Cress of Lynchburg.
