He was predeceased by: his parents, A. A. Babcock (Deb) and Annie Laurie Scruggs Babcock; and his siblings, June Babcock and Byron Babcock. He is survived by: his wife Mary Dyess Babcock; his children, Whit Babcock (Kelly) and Gini Babcock; his grandchildren, Drew, Brett and Eli Babcock; his sister Rebecca B. Rosser; his niece Susan R. Jones (Ricky); his nephew Jesse Rosser (Julie); and the mother of his children Brenda Taylor Babcock.
