She was predeceased by: her spouse Massie Leonard Staton; her parents, George Quinn Wright and Lottie Mays Wright; and her siblings, Abraham Wright, Cecil Wright, Earnest Wright, William Wright, George Wright, Leonard Wright, Evelyn Clowman, Sadie Purvis, Georgie Morris, Mary Hall and Lottie Eubanks.

She is survived by: her sons, Mark Staton of Concord and Roger Staton of Concord; and her brother Matthew Wright of Lynchburg. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
