Franklin Lee Haskins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franklin Lee Haskins of Columbia, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Haskins. He is survived by: his children, Franklin Jr., Lillian, James and Patricia; his siblings, Adelaide Champ, Maurice Haskins, Yvonne Washington, James Haskins, Harold Haskins (Peggy), John Haskins, Sr. (Junell), George Ferrell (Rosa) and Rose Cook (Micheal); his godmother Nellie Wright; his niece Patricia Washington; and his goddaughters, Erin Chapman-Ashe and Niree Ashe. He is also survived by grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church (2800 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172).
