She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Whitlow Miles and Sally Thompson Miles; and her stepmother Allie Miles. She is survived by: her husband Jack E. Steele; her sister Sandra Prillaman (Sam); her half-sister Teri C. Miles; her nephew P. Miles Prillaman (Julia); her grandchildren, Amie Lesser (Sean), Emily Walthall (Colin), Kristen Steele, Ethan Steele and Bailey Steele; her great grandchildren, Charles Lesser, Lucy Lesser and Maxwell Walthall; and also, Mark Steele (Joyce) and Kevin Steele (Theresa).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Richmond SPCA.
