He was predeceased by: his significant other Ann Mason Bailey Valenta; his brother Bobby Valenta; and his parents, Annie Nemecek Valenta and Joseph Frank Valenta. He is survived by: his son Thomas Martin Valenta, Jr. (Marty); his daughter-in-law Kelly Hunter Valenta; his grandchildren, Thomas Martin Valenta, III (Trey) and Kayla Renae Valenta of Glen Allen, Virginia.; his brother Harry Valenta; his sister-in-law LeLe Valenta; his sister Pat O'Berry; and his brother-in-law Obie O'Berry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
