As we bid adieu to Theresa Jean's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Theresa Jean has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Staton and Joan Theresa Staton; and her son Steven Richards. She is survived by: her husband Eric Kevin Matheny; her siblings, Russel Staton, Richard Staton and Patricia Collins; her son Brandon Connor Matheny; and her stepchildren, Ericha Renee Pratt and Craig Matheny.
A reception was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
