She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lee Sadler and Minerva Lundie Sadler; her husband James Benton Church, Sr.; and her siblings, Bernard Sadler, Jr., Jimmy Sadler, Gerald Sadler (Jewel), Buck Sadler (Duckie), Kathleen Puckett (Aubrey), Rena Burton (Stuart), Joyce Hutchinson, Zelda Johnson and Patsy Moore (Donald).
She is survived by: her sons, James "Jim" Benton Church, Jr. and Michael Paul Church; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Johnson and Michael Hutchinson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory - Colonial Heights (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the Sunset Memorial Park (2901 W Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831).
