He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everett Pond Sr. and Phyllis Ann Pond of Colonial Heights. He is survived by: his grandson Franklin; his wife Toni Pond; his children, Marion Pond, Phyllis Ward (Ricky), Angie Irons (Robert) and Luigi Boccella; his grandchildren, Richard Franklin Ward IV, Lewis Ward, Dayna Irons, Daphane Garges, Jordan Boccella, Jessica Boccella, Amanda Boccella and Mariah Boccella; and his siblings, Michael Pond (Kathy), Julie Groat (Steve), Guy Pond and William Pond Jr. (Janice). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark's honor to Crater Hospice or Colonial Heights Animal Shelter.
