He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Minson and Loueen Minson; and his niece Melissa Doris Edmundson. He is survived by: his siblings, George W. Minson, II, John Henry Minson, Elizabeth Minson Deeb (Michael), Danita Minson Archer and James Arlin Ivey (Stephanie); his nieces, Madlina Ivey, Madison Ivey and Makayla Ivey; his nephew Peter S. Pickering (Robyn); his great-nieces, Eloise Margaret Pickering and Beatrice Elizabeth Pickering; and his great-nephew Theo Kruger Pickering.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (3101 Nine Mile Rd, Richmond, VA 23223).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to The Heights Baptist Church 17201 US-1, South Chesterfield.
