She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Thomas and Marjorie Noon Slade; her husband Littleton "Boochie" Harris; her son Mitchell Harris; and her brother Richard Slade.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Harris Langster and Michael Harris (Pollie); her daughter-in-law Darlene Harris; her grandchildren, Marie Andrews Grant (Kevin Ivey) and Will Andrews (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Charlie Grant, Harry Grant, Josiah Andrews and Jack Andrews; her sister Almeda Slade Lanier; and her close friend Morris Horne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory - Colonial Heights (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
