It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Eugene Riggs of Colonial Heights, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Riggs and Leola W. Riggs; and his wife Judith B. Riggs. He is survived by: his children, David Riggs (RuthAnn) of Cumming, GA and Karen Riggs of Midlothian, VA; his granddaughters, Mackenzie Emerson (Austin), Alexa Riggs (Henry) and Carly Riggs of Bland, VA; and his siblings, Charles Riggs of Virginia Beach, VA, Darlene Hutcheson of Dinwiddie, Carolyn Daniel of Prince George and Marilyn Lewis of Petersburg. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
