With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Vaughan McCray of Colonial Heights, Virginia, who passed away on October 30, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Lee and Nannie Louise Vaughan; and her husband Calvin Horace McCray. She is survived by: her children, Steve Skalak (Maryanne), Lisa Skalak, Craig Skalak (Elke) and Kelly Bishop (Mike); and her grandchildren, Kristina Skalak (David), Tristan McCray, Grant Skalak (Kaleigh), Matt Skalak, Zac Bryant and Deni Clayton. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Library.
