He was predeceased by: his stepson Zacharie S. Hogwood. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Messier and Jeannette Messier; his fiancée Tabitha Jan Bishop; his children, Joshua Messier, Brandon Messier, Jonathan Messier and Haley Messier; his sister Jennifer Ammar; his stepchildren, Carli J. Hogwood and Alexander D. Hogwood; and his grandsons, James A. Vaughan, Cairo Z. Vaughan and Liam S. Hogwood. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
