John Gordon Bowles Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gordon Bowles (Colonial Heights, Virginia), who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bowles and Launa Bowles; his wife Linda Bowles; his brothers, Gene Bowles and Bill Bowles; his daughter Debra Davis; and his son-in-law Johnny Morris.
He is survived by: his children, John G. Bowles Jr. (Debra), Claire Morris, Joan Bowles, Nancy Bowles and Kathy Bowles Culbertson (Harold); his sisters, Gloria Whittington, Monna Rollins and Judy Bonecutter; and his grandchildren, Tye Decker, Jonathan Overstreet, Steven Bailey, Michael Bailey, Stephen Duke, James Duke, Joshua Duke, David Duke, Stephanie McConahy, Patty Duke and Amber Ramella. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory - Colonial Heights (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
