It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Sammons Conant (Colonial Heights, Virginia), born in South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Sammons and May Flower Cole; her husband Joseph A. Conant Jr.; her son Wayne Franklin Conant; and her sister Sylvia Sammons.
She is survived by: her sons, Philip C. Conant (Elizabeth) of Jacksonville and Brian C. Conant (Tina) of Chester, Virginia; and her granddaughter Kristen Hart.
