It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Castro of Colonial Heights, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Gouveia and Rosa Gouveia. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Castro; her daughter Rosa M. Morris (Joseph Morris, Jr.); and her grandchildren, Joseph Morris III (Tracie), Scott Morris (Jennifer), Jeremy Morris (Amanda), Jonathan Morris (Deborah) and Ann Viera (Paul). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
