He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Dale Gibson and Josephine Powroznik Gibson of Morgantown; and his brother Andrew Paul Gibson of Shinnston. He is survived by: his wife Carole Thompson Gibson; his children, Robert Dale "Bobby" Gibson of Matoaca, Michele Harris (Brett) of Sutherland and Kristen Perkinson (Scott) of Sutherland; his granddaughter Sarah Harris of Sutherland; his sister Monica Gibson; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Gibson of Shinnston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and cousins.
